Molly Gilbert, President

Hi! I am Molly Gilbert and I am so excited to be your 2024-2025 MHSRA Student President. I am going into my senior year of High School at Shepherd, and I plan on continuing to rodeo through college and eventually at the Pro level. Both of my parents are very involved in rodeo. My dad Denver is the current MHSRA President and had a successful career Bull Dogging at the pro level. My mom Jenny owns Go Rope Clothing, roped both calves and steers her whole life and is who got me started in the Breakaway. My younger brother Brody does just about every event under the sun for boys his age, a good hand with a rope, but not one to call when in need for a crepe paper racing partner. Just ask Leddy Larson. MHSRA has given me countless opportunities over the years and taught me lessons no other sport has, and for that I am forever grateful to be apart of such an amazing organization. One of my goals as president is to make sure our rodeo athletes have a voice in the decisions made for our association. If you have any questions or concerns on any issues, please feel free to reach out to me!

Ali Erickson, Vice President

My name is Ali Erickson, and it is an honor to be your 2024/2025 Student Vice President.  I am a Junior at Moore High School and active in FCCLA, FFA, 4-H, Student Council, and a member of the National Honor Society.  My parents are Tater and Erlonna Erickson and I am thankful for their support.  I have an older brother, Taten, who rodeos for Cochise College in Douglas, Arizona and younger brother, Tike, who is a freshman this year.   I compete in Breakaway, Team Roping, and Reined Cow Horse.  I am grateful for the opportunities that the Montana High School Rodeo Association has provided.  One of my favorite quotes is “Hard Work Beats Talent When Talent Doesn’t Work Hard”.   I want the members in our association to have a voice and feel like their opinion is valued.  Thank you for giving me this opportunity to represent the student athletes in our association.
